What type of events are your soul bands suitable for?

How much does it cost to book a soul band?
We offer a hand-picked roster of function bands to cover a wide range of budgets.
A typical 3-piece wedding band will usually cost in the region of £1000-£1500 for a local event. For large corporate events, we recommend a high-end soul showband to really make an impression. Featuring the UK's top session musicians and vocalists, you can expect fees to range anywhere between £2000 and £5000.
Depending on your wedding location, there may also be travel costs to consider which will be included in the quote.
How long does a live band play for?
Soul bands usually offer 2 hours of live music, split into two or three sets to finish by midnight. If your event ends later than this, your party band will be happy to quote for a later finish time.
Will the band provide a DJ service?
All of our soul & Motown bands offer pre-mixed DJ playlists as standard to keep your guests entertained throughout the evening. For a small fee, many of our bands can also provide a professional DJ service.
Can the band provide music for our drinks reception?
Many of our leading soul bands offer various live music options to liven up your afternoon drinks reception. From soulful acoustic duos and jazz groups, right through to solo pianists and guitarists during dinner. What time will the wedding band arrive?
Our soul wedding bands usually quote based on an arrival time of around 5/6 pm, leaving plenty of time to set up and sound check before your evening party gets underway.
If your wedding breakfast and speeches are taking place in the same room as the meal, the band would usually wait until these have finished, avoiding any interruptions. If you need your wedding band to arrive prior to the sit-down dinner, they'll be more than happy to quote for an earlier arrival.
